Dream Themes and Selected Sequences

Following up on my last blog post, here are some highlights from my dream log…
Tech & Travel Adventures
  • Tesla at the dump → You found a discarded Tesla sedan, restored it with bodywork, and drove it down to Tacoma like a prize reclaimed from ruin. *
  • Tesla road trip from Texas → You realized you couldn’t fly home because your Tesla was parked there. No problem: you let it self-drive 8+ hours back to Seattle while you relaxed.
Houses, Foundations, and Collapse
  • Shifting a whole house → With Caleb, you literally moved someone’s house on its foundation using pulley mechanisms, only to overcorrect and leave it hanging completely off.
  • Drywall nightmare → A contractor hired a total amateur who left you with floors of sloppy, unworkable drywall — a mess you had to reckon with.
  • Earthquake in Tacoma → A central beam collapsed in your house; in some scenes it was finished and livable, in others it was a wreck under repair.
Escape, Survival, and War Dramas
  • Fleeing China at night → You led a group through rivers, holding your breath underwater to avoid detection, then ran down trails in khakis and running shoes as tourists appeared all around you.
  • Robot invasion → Ten-foot-tall humanoid robots crushed human armies, until one lone defender demolished them with just a stick.
  • Abduction by another tribe → A man traveling abroad was captured, mistaken by his people for a distant statue, when in reality he was a prisoner in an alien space.
Love, Sex, and Intimacy
  • Blonde world traveler at the bar → You met an intelligent, dramatic woman at a party, went home with her, and explored intimacy that felt both raw and unfinished.
  • Rachel McAdams onboarding → At a new job by the Port of Seattle, your HR rep (who looked like Rachel McAdams) onboarded you with quiet charisma — and then you ended up in bed with her.
  • Brazilian woman in the guitar shop → After descending a perilous escalator, you met her naked, skin-on-skin, in an intensely real encounter that felt risky enough to pause for fear of consequences.
  • Ex reappearing → Dreams cycle back to her — sometimes cuddling in a new bed, sometimes breaking up in a tense shared apartment, sometimes confessing an abortion.
Wild Journeys and Nature Scenes
  • Mount Baker hikes → You repeatedly left gear behind (backpacks, sleeping bags), forcing yourself to backtrack, yet you also had romantic moments — like a woman treasuring an old glove you once gave her.
  • Ziplining with Trump-like figure → You crossed a valley on a zipline with a group, a surreal blend of thrill ride and bizarre company.
  • Hidden village in Hawaii → Swept down a river, you found yourself welcomed into an off-grid tropical community whose leader revealed himself as a billionaire.
Strange and Surreal
  • Performative breakup dance → You and a woman enacted a dramatic, wordless relationship breakdown as performance art in front of an unimpressed audience.
  • Lion on a cruise ship → Amid an apocalyptic event, a bloodthirsty lion stalked passengers as Earth lost atmospheric pressure. People tapped into others’ skulls like wine casks to survive.
  • Miniature creatures crushed → You stepped on small furry child-like beings in costumes, crushing their heads to be sure they were dead — disturbing, dream-logic violence.
Mythic and Heroic
  • Nathan Fielder in Iceland → He explored a remote cave filled with sacred, creature-like carvings on the ceiling — a mix of comedy, absurdity, and awe.
  • Climbing icy peaks → You led others up treacherous snowy slopes, tied into ropes, and overheard people praising you as a talented, gifted climber.
